Miro
Project Type: Hospitality Audio Design
Location: Mayfair, London
Year: 2023
Client: Miro Mayfair
SDS Role: Architectural Audio Consultancy
Project Context
A high performance audio system for Miro, a late night dining and speakeasy venue in Mayfair supporting extended evening service and DJ programming.
Design Constraint
Maintaining comfort at the table while delivering impact and atmosphere as the venue transitions into late night operation.
Sonic Concept
A distributed loudspeaker approach using smaller format speakers for even coverage throughout the space without requiring high output from any individual source.
Integration Approach
Clarity and presence at lower operating levels, avoiding localised loudness that could disrupt dining while still delivering impact during late night operation.
Project Outcome
An audio environment optimised for dynamic range and headroom, while retaining control, balance, and tonal accuracy across dining and lounge areas.
